Normally I try to keep my obsessions down to 1) Tyra Banks’ creepy hairline and 2) myself, but I have to tell you people about the Butter By Nadia sale this weekend. First of all because I keep promising everyone who sees me wearing a Butter dress that I will tell them about the next sale, and then I forget who they are. Secondly because Christmas is coming and, internet, I want you to go buy me Butter for Christmas.

That is a nice-looking dress, but I think you will hurt Tyra’s feelings once she obsessively finds this via Google. Here is something I read about her in The Week magazine (I pointed out that I read it in The Week so that you wouldn’t lose respect for me):
“Tyra Banks doesn’t have a steady boyfriend because she won’t let anyone spend the night and see her without a wig. The 33-year-old model promotes a message of feminine strength and self-reliance on her daily talk show The Tyra Banks Show, but ‘is really insecure about her hair,’ a source tells Celebrity News Service. ‘Tyra feels like guys are with her for her image that they see on TV and in magazines. If one wakes up without her glamorous hair, she’s worried he may not call back.’”

See, that’s why it’s creepy! Just like tupees are creepy — they are hiding insecurity. Ya’ll know I love a wig, I just get freaked out by a woman who will DIGITALLY BLUR her hairline on TV (I swear to god — AMNTM, many seasons ago, I caught it in a rerun.)
I say we start a campaign to help her feel better about her bald, patchy, over-weaved head. Start photoshopping her hair out of pictures! She’ll still look feirce! No shame, girl!
