But Seriously, Folks! Alzheimers.

On stage, we call each other dirty whores. Off, we raise money for Alzheimers.

Many of you have seen us in I Eat Pandas, or at least met my comedy partner Glennis McMurray. Well, her father was diagnosed a few years ago — at only 62 years old — with Alzheimers. This weekend we are doing a charity walk for Alzheimers, in honor of him.

It would be great if you could donate a few bucks. We are getting SO close to figuring out Alzheimers (well, not US, but someone), so your donations are really important. Hopefully in a few years we won’t have to do this sort of thing, and can just have walks to raise money to buy candy. So, your contributions not only fight against Alzheimers, they fight FOR candy.

You can visit our donation page here: https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=231737&lis=1&kntae231737=674F9A37199A4756B8131E26D0EAF2EF&supId=189296846

Oh, and here is Glennis’ & her sister’s message:

Currently over 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease. Our dad, Tom, was diagnosed at only 62 years old. The disease is completely erasing the man we used to know. Unless we find a way to change the course, 16 million Americans could have Alzheimer’s by 2050.We want to fight this devastating disease, but we can’t do it without the help of people like you. Funds raised at Memory Walk support research that is on the brink of promising new treatments to slow and prevent Alzheimer’s and local programs to improve the lives of individuals living with the disease. On behalf of our sweet daddy Tom, thank you for supporting our efforts.
