Dresden — I got to hang out at the Dresden — that cabaret place with the old couple that sings standards that you see in lots of movies? Yeah, that one. It was pretty great.
The Beach — I went a lot. Like, bathing-suit-in-my-glove-compartment-at-all-times a lot. This is very unlike me. Anyway, I think I preferred the grimy gaudiness of Venice to the fat children of Santa Monica. Next time: Malibu!
