YAT — week three

This year I have challenged myself to do something totally awesome every week — it’s called a Year of Awesome Things. It’s not always that impressive, but at least I’m sticking with it. Give me some credit for that, ok? OK??

If only! This week I was feeling sickly, so I wasn’t as active as I’d like. So this week my awesome stuff was mostly just time spent with friends.

I spent Sunday afternoon at a lovely brunch full of some of my favorite comedy ladies. It’s always great to spent time with this bunch of people going through such similar things, but without any competition between us. There is only room for fun and deviled eggs!

Next week: Hanging out in swanky hotel bars, high-end karaoke, and industry big-wigs.

    Hi Eliza,

I caught your UCBT show the other Saturday night when I was vacationing in NYC and googling to find something to do at short notice which wasn’t already booked up. Anyhow, I thought your show was just great with lots of wonderfully dark humour, and far better than being mugged-by-credit-card at some Broadway show which I could probably see any night in London. Ace venue as well.

Plus, I thought you were really nice-looking and that’s always fine with most men. So thanks for a good night out. You should come over to England and get yourself on the BBC’s cult Friday night news quiz “Have I Got News For You”, as you’d be good on it and it’s got the sharpest wit I’ve ever seen.

    Cheers.

Do they solve crimes? Or at least investigate fraudulent worker’s compensation claims?
