Sadly, as a result of Koko’s unchecked nipple obsession, Penny and Koko (ok, the Gorilla Foundation) were sued for sexual harrassment.

“Two women…claimed they were pressured to show their breasts to Koko, the famous gorilla who communicates with humans through sign language.…
“Patterson would interpret certain hand movements made by Koko as a ‘demand’ to see exposed human nipples,” their suit alleged. “[Patterson] made it known to Keller and Alperin that if [they] did not indulge Koko’s nipple fetish, their employment with the Gorilla Foundation would suffer.“
Both women claimed they refused to show Koko their nipples.”
CLAIMED! They CLAIMED. Who knows how it really went down though, right guys? Right??
The cases were eventually settled out of court.
I honestly don’t think I need to make any jokes about this. The joke is that it is COMPLETELY TRUE. THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED. My work here is done.
